Parliament continues deliberations on impeachment motion

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today continued deliberations on the motion of impeachment against Chief (now suspended) of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), that has been piling pressure on the government to table the constitution amendment proposal in the Parliament at the earliest possible, on Monday urged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal not to register the proposal right away.

The government of Nepal so far has distributed more than Rs. 70 million to top leaders in the name of medical expenses.
