KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Some areas under the Om Feeder of the Naxal Substation in Kathmandu will experience a 6-hour electricity disruption today.
The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that there will be a six-hour power outage in areas under the Om Feeder, from the Dhobikhola bridge north of Om Hospital, passing through SR Catering and from below the Dhumbarahi Temple to Sukedhara.
Kathmandu witnesses temperature drop as monsoon retreats
The NEA stated that the feeder will need to be shut down from 10 AM to 4 PM in those areas for pole shifting work.
The NEA has stated that if the work is completed ahead of schedule, electricity service will be restored earlier.
