Nepal records 1,664 new cases, 1,786 recoveries and 20 deaths

KATHMANDU, August 31: Nepal recorded 1,664 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday along with 1,786 recoveries and 20 deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

Briquettes to be produced by burning unusable bills

KATHMANDU, August 31: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has introduced a new system which will burn old, ripped bank notes to produce briquette. The technology introduced from the Netherlands will burn unusable paper bills and produce briquettes for fuel purposes. Prior to the new system, unusable bills were burnt and destroyed.
