KATHMANDU, Jan 29: The Socialist Front, an alliance of like-minded fringe political parties with socialist orientation, has decided to hold a public demonstration in Kathmandu on April 6 against the working style of the government.
A meeting of the central coordination committee of the Socialist Front on Wednesday took a decision to this effect.
The meeting held at the central office of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) in Alok Nagar also decided to organize a public demonstration in Madhesh Province on April 6, stated Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma, a leader of the NCP. He added that the Socialist Front will launch its own journal named "Socialist Front" by mid-March to provide information about the Socialist Front.
The meeting also decided to initiate discussions to bring in Mohan Bikram Singh's party and other parties to join the Socialist Front. It concluded that the current government is acting against the spirit of the federal republic.
