KATHMANDU, Dec 27: The Socialist Front, comprising CPN (Maoist Center), Janata Samajbadi Party, CPN (Unified Socialist), and Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), is currently in session at the Prime Minister’s Office Residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
The primary agenda of the meeting is to assess the achievements and performance of the government during its one-year tenure. Additionally, the leaders will deliberate on strategies for the upcoming National Assembly election scheduled for January 25.
United Socialist Front merges with CPN (Unified Socialist)
Present at the meeting are key figures including Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party Upendra Yadav, and Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal as well as the general secretary of the CPN, Netra Bikran Chand.
