KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A meeting of the high-level political mechanism formed by the ruling coalition is underway at the Prime minister's official residence in Baluwatar.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of high-level political mechanism KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party Rabi Lamichhane and Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Rajendra Lingden are participating in the meeting being held at Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar.

It is said that the meeting of the mechanism will discuss the presidential election as well as the recent political developments.
Rastriya Swatantra Party recently quit the government led by Prime Minister Dahal. Similarly, the UML-led government collapsed in Sudurpaschim province when the ruling party, Nagarik Unmukti Party, did not extend support to the government.
