LALITPUR, March 15: The Socialist Front has announced plans to organize a massive protest and public rally in Kathmandu on March 28.
The Front stated that it is actively uniting all patriotic and republican forces to counter the conspiracy of regressive and reactionary forces. It also called upon the entire justice-loving public to join this effort.
At a press conference in Lalitpur, CPN leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma announced that the Front is mobilizing patriotic and republican forces across the country to actively combat regressive and reactionary conspiracies.

The Front accuses those in state power of hindering the development of the federal democratic republican system and spreading disillusionment among the public through undemocratic behavior and activities.
Leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma asserted that corruption, commissions, and black marketing are pushing the economy into crisis. He accused the government of prioritizing the interests of middlemen and brokers, ruling through ordinances, deceiving parliament, and obstructing important bills registered in parliament.
Bishwokarma stated that stagnation in the development of the federal democratic republican system and the undemocratic behavior of state administrators are suppressing the rights of the Nepali people. He emphasized that state administrators are leading the country into a difficult and precarious situation through their arbitrariness.
He further asserted that corruption, commissions, and black marketing are actively undermining the economy, leaving the livelihoods of the Nepali people in a desperate state.
He accused the government of prioritizing the interests of middlemen and brokers, undermining democratic values by ruling through ordinances, deceiving parliament, and obstructing important bills registered in parliament.
Leader Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma emphasized that the government's misgovernance and chaos are fueling growing dissatisfaction and outrage among the Nepali people. He asserted that this situation directly threatens the protection of the federal democratic republic, the country's sovereignty, and the Nepali people's pursuit of socialism.
The Socialist Front stated that it will engage in discussions and consultations with all segments of Nepali society, including political parties both inside and outside parliament, civil society, intellectuals, and other stakeholders. The Front will take the lead in a united, cooperative, and joint resistance movement to protect the federal democratic republic and support national independence and republicanism while actively countering regressive and reactionary conspiracies.
