GORKHA, Oct 11: Ten persons have gone missing in the Budhigandaki flood that occurred early morning today. The flood also swept away six bridges- two motorable and four suspension bridges.
Assistant chief district officer in Gorkha, Netra Prasad Sharma, told state-owned RSS that the flood swept away the motorable bridges of Arughat, Tripurasundari and Soti-Manbu.

Even a bailey bridge connecting ward no 1 and 3 of Dharche Rural Municipality in Gorkha was swept away in the disaster.
Other footbridges damaged include the ones connecting Machhikhola to Karauja; Thadobharyang to Jagat; and Ghattekhola to Philim of Gorkha district.
The flood washed away nearly 35 houses from Painyu and Bagar of Chumnubri Rural Municipality-3. It also damaged settlements at Jagat, Salleri, Dovan and Ghattekhola.
