Dhankuta Municipality is introducing a package of paragliding and rafting to promote adventure tourism in the district. The paragliding route starts from Chuliban that lies in Ward 9 of Dhankuta Municipality and ends on the bank of Tamor River. After landing, the participants can go for a five-kilometer-long rafting on the river.

Around 37 villages still remain inundated by flood water and people are beginning to panic with the possibility of an epidemic. The panic is triggered by the recent increase in cases of fever, cold and stomach related problems among flood victims.
