RAJBIRAJ (Saptari) Aug 31: Rastriya Prajatantra Party ( RPP) Nepal Chair Kamal Thapa has ruled out the possibility of local poll by mid April next year.
The Foreign Minister in the erstwhile government accused the incumbent of putting the people in confusion by claiming that it would hold the local poll within mid-April, 2017.
Speaking at a press meet at Rajbiraj on Wednesday, he claimed that holding of elections of all three levels on the announced date seemed difficult.
He accused the government of deceiving the people with the assurances that there would be amendments to the constitution to address the Madhes issues before the Prime Minister's India visit.
He was of the view of settling the internal matters including the amendment of constitution internally.
The RPP Nepal chair further reinstated his demand for reinstating Nepal a Hindu state. RSS
