Fifty-two-year-old Raj Kumar Sah calls himself an uneducated business person. “I have only studied up to the second standard. I think investors in this country should at least have a five-year plan instead of a five-month plan. Many folks invest in something and want a return on their investment from the next month. Any venture needs time to grow and my successful failures have taught me that you need to give at least two to three years before your venture begins to give you back some money.

Nepse begins week on a negative note

KATHMANDU: Stocks fluctuated throughout Sunday's trading session but largely maintained a negative bias on the day. The benchmark Nepal stock Exchange (Nepse) index, which fell initially, tried to recover mid-day. However, stocks came under pressure in the remaining session to close slightly lower, shedding 2.78 points compared to last week to close at 1,175.72 points.
