KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Youth entrepreneur and Executive Member of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Manish Kumar Agrawal, passed away at Medanta Hospital, India, on Saturday night.
Agrawal, 46, was receiving treatment for blood cancer.

According to Pashupati Murarka, immediate past president of FNCCI, Agrawal was diagnosed with blood cancer about a month ago only. "He himself was unaware of the disease that he was suffering from," Murarka said: "Even doctors were not so negative regarding his health condition. It was an untimely death."
Agrawal had been serving on the Executive Committee of FNCCI for the past decade.
"In association with FNCCI, he worked on strategic planning, negotiation, export, business strategy and new business development. His death is an unbearable loss to FNCCI and the entire industrial sector of the country."
Agrawal, who was also the chairman of the Export Promotion Committee of FNCCI, had investments in agriculture, export, trade, processing, and manufacturing industry, among other sectors, according to Murarka.
