DAILEKH, March 14: Two individuals lost their lives while cutting down a tree in Siyala community forest located in Bhairabi Rural Municipality-5 in the district.
According to local leader Debiram Acharya, 49-year-old Tarkabahadur Shahi and 27-year-old Indra Bahadur Shahi were crushed to death on the spot when a pine tree fell on them. They had gone to the forest to cut trees for a death anniversary ritual in the village.

Chief of District Police Office, Dailekh, Sunil Dahal stated that a police team was deployed following reports of the incident. He added that two injured individuals succumbed to their injuries while being taken for treatment.
