KATHMANDU, March 12: The election officer's office has decided to uphold the candidacy of the candidate for the post of vice president, Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav.
Assistant Election Officer Amrita Sharma Paudel said that it has been decided that Yadav's candidature will not be canceled.

CPN-UML candidate Ashta Lakshmi Shakya and Janamat Party candidate Mamta Jha Had filed a complaint at the election officer's office demanding the cancellation of Yadav's candidature.
