Winter rain enters Nepal through Far Western Region

KATHMANDU, Dec 24: Meteorologists have said that this year's winter rain system entered Nepal from the far western region on Monday evening. Due to the impact of this system, the far western region may receive partial rain on Tuesday and the valley may remain cloudy throughout the day and may experience scattered rain in the evening, said meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane.


According to him, the system that entered on Monday is the first rain system of this winter season. He said that there is a possibility that another rain system may also enter this winter season. Meteorologists say that the impact of the system that entered the country on Monday will be seen in the far western and western regions, while its impact will be less in the eastern region. "The winter rain system entered the country on Monday evening. Its impact will gradually be felt across the country from Monday evening," said meteorologist Lamichhane.


There was not much winter rain last winter. Although there was scattered rain in the far western and western regions, there was no winter rain in the valley and eastern regions.
