Feeling good

Donating unwanted possessions may honestly be the easiest way to help out. There are probably many things that are lying around in your house that you don't need but another person is in need of. Donating something like clothes your children have grown out of, or toys that they don't use anymore can always be helpful to children that don't have enough. Donating money, or investing your time in buying basic resources such as soap, and toothpaste may be helpful to the people in need.

Taking part in hosting a charity fundraising event may be a difficult thing to achieve, and plan accordingly but it is a great way to get involved with the community. An event, such as a busking bandstand or a market that involves people paying, allows you to raise money for a certain cause. An event is also something that is interesting that many people would be interested in being part of, so being able to collect a larger chunk of money is easier.

Volunteering, sparing your free time into something such as helping the elderly homes, or taking part in animal shelters is a good way to get involved with the community. Not only do you get to feel helpful, you learn new things, communicate better and expand your social skills more these ways.

Shopping locally

Buying handmade items from shops, like bracelets, sweaters, paintings, and house decoration items is always fun. You can also go to farmers' markets every Saturday morning in Labim, taking part in small local shops is always helpful.
