Unidentified gang kills three in Dhanusha

JANAKPUR, April 4: An unidentified gang brutally killed three youths on the banks of Jalad River in Haripur area of Dhanusha district.



The gang killed two youths--Sukuna Mahato,16, and Bihari Mahato,26, of Haripur-8 in the district-- by slitting their throats. The same unidentified group is believed to have murdered Megha Bamjan of Haripur-7 by chopping off his hands and legs after tying him with a rope to a tractor with registration number Ja 1 Pa 1554.



No one has owned up the incident so far. Though the murders took place on Friday evening, the brutal incident came to light on Saturday morning only. All the deceased are learnt to be village level cadres of ruling Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).



A police team from district headquarters Janakpur has reached the incident site to start investigation into the incident.
