KOHALPUR, June 5: An unidentified gang attacked ML Sharma, the director and manager of the Jay Bageshwari Cement, last night when he was going to Nepalgunj from the factory.
Two people stopped his car on highway, thrashed him severely and took away his mobile phone. He sustained injuries on his head, face, chest and hands. The cement factory is a kilometer away from Ganapur Piprahawa Chowk of Nepalgunj-Kohalpur Road section.
Armed gang attacks ward member ruthlessly
"They stopped my car when I was only 100 meters ahead from the factory, pulled me out and without talking anything they started attacking me," said Sharma. He is undergoing treatment in a local hospital.
DSP Suresh Prasad Kafle at Kohalpur Area Police Office said that the Police will investigate the incident but informed that the case is yet to be reported to police.
