JANAKPURDHAM, April 4: A woman was found dead in a wheatfield in Dhanusha, sparking a murder investigation. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Shubha Devi Mandal of Hanspur Municipality-7 of Dhanusha, was reported missing on Saturday evening after she traveled to Sahid Nagar Municipality-4 in Dhanusha.
Her body was found near the village around 9:30 AM today in a wheatfield with multiple injuries.

The police suspect that someone may have killed and thrown her in the field.
Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Ranjan Awa said that the police are confirming the incident as a homicide and have deployed a trained dog team to aid in the investigation.
