Two injured in Khalte bus accident succumb to injuries

MALEKHU, Jan 18: Two men injured in Monday's bus accident at Pateni village of Khalte in Dhading succumbed to their injuries on Tuesday.

MALEKHU, Jan 18: Two men injured in Monday's bus accident at Pateni village of Khalte in Dhading succumbed to their injuries on Tuesday. 


The deceased identified as a local teacher Madhav Adhikari, 45, and five-year-old Santosh Jamarkattel of Khalte were receiving treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu where they were referred from Dhading District Hospital following the accident, police said.

Score others were also injured in the accident. The accident is attributed to the bus (Ba 3 Kha 8263) carrying passengers beyond capacity when the accident occurred. The bus headed towards Khalte from Dhadingbesi. 


Of the total 24 people injured in the accident, 16 were referred to Trauma Centre in Kathmandu while the remaining 10 were receiving treatment at a local health facility, police said.RSS
