Two injured in Dhading road accident die

MALEKHU (Dhading), Jan 17: Two men injured in Monday's bus accident at Pateni village of Khalte in Dhading succumbed to their injuries today.

MALEKHU (Dhading), Jan 17: Two men injured in Monday's bus accident at Pateni village of Khalte in Dhading succumbed to their injuries today. 



The deceased have identified as a local teacher Madhav Adhikari, 45, and five-year-old Santosh Jamarkattel of Khalte. 



They breathed their last while were receiving treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu where they were referred from Dhading District Hospital following the accident, police said. 



Score others were also injured in the accident. The accident is attributed to the bus, Ba 3 Kha 8263, carrying passengers beyond capacity when the accident occurred. The bus was heading for Khalte from Dhadingbesi. 



Of the total 24 people injured in the accident, 16 were referred to Trauma Center in Kathmandu, while the remaining 10 were receiving treatment at a local health facility, police said. RSS
