KHASYAULI, June 23: Two persons were burnt to death in a fire caused by the explosion of a motorcycle's fuel tank at Sainamaina Municipality-6 in Rupandehi last night.

A bus (Na 7 Kha 5948) en route to east from west hit a motorcycle (Lu 8 Pa 8475) heading towards the opposite direction which caused the explosion of two-wheeler's fuel tank.


Identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, Area Police Office Sajhandhi said. "We are trying to identify the victims," said Police Inspector Rabin Raj Bhandari. The bodies have been kept at the Lumbini State Hospital and investigations into the case are underway.
