Two arrested with six golden monitor lizards in Biratnagar

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Two individuals have been arrested along with six rare golden monitor lizards on the Koshi Highway in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-13. The duo was apprehended on Monday morning while traveling from India towards Biratnagar.


The arrested individuals, Buddhi Rishidev, 58, and Suresh Rishidev, 56, both residents of Barju Rural Municipality-1 in Sunsari, have been handed over to the District Division Forest Office for further action, according to the central police newsroom.
