CHITWAN, Nov 18: Minister for Education Dhaniram Poudel has said the government is working to sort out disputes seen of late between the Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) and the Tribhuvan University (TU).
Speaking at a press meet organized by Press Centre Nepal here today, Minister Poudel said the government is preparing to amend the AFU statute.
The disputes between the TU and AFU will be sorted out with the revision of the AFU statute, he said, adding that the preparation of a draft for this was in progress.
On a different context, the Minister said the government is busy with the tripartite negotiations and discussions to seek a stronger political support for presenting the constitution amendment draft so as to address the voices of the Madhesh. RSS
