Two-and-a-half-year-old Anjila Bista died on the spot while her mother Indira was injured in the accident involving a scooter, Ba 41 Pa. 7708, and a truck, Na.4Kha. 9929.
Anjila and her mother Indira were pillion riding with Asha Shrestha of Bhandara. Shrestha was also injured in the incident. Both are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College.
The scooter was reportedly hit by the truck heading towards Narayaghat from Hetauda in the accident that took place at around 3:00 pm, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. RSS
