PALPA, Sept 2: A scooter rider died in a road accident that occurred at Bardale of Rampur Municipality-10 in Palpa district today. The accident took place when the scooter (Lu 44 Pa 2431) heading to Ramtar from Rampur Bardale along the Kaligandaki corridor met with an accident.
The scooter rider is identified as 40-year-old Yam Bahadur Magar from Rampur-10 of the district.

Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Sugandha Shrestha said that Magar was rushed to Rampur Hospital for treatment, but the doctors declared him dead in no time.
The police said that the accident happened when the scooter hit a divider on the road.
