KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Chairman of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Mahantha Thakur has been admitted to Sahid Ganga Lal Hridaya Kendra Wednesday noon after he complained of chest pain.
According to his personal aide Gyanendra Jha, Thakur has been admitted at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital. [break]
Dr Yadav Bhatta who is involved in Thakur´s treatment has suggested three-day hospital stay for Thakur.
Earlier, Thakur was taken to his residence in Sano Thimi after he lost consciousness while attending the parliament meeting at New Baneshwor.
Thakur has been suffering from heart problem for a couple of years.
