KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Times International College and CCRC College are set to vie in the boys' final of the Rosebud Valley-wide Inter-school Basketball Tournament after winning their respective semifinal matches on Tuesday.
In the first semifinal match, Times overcame New Summit 59-56 with the help of Amit Tamang's highest 30 points. Similarly CCRC registered 67-57 win over Xavier. Anup Basnet contributed highest 26 points for the winning team.
Similarly in the girls' section of the tournament, NASA College fixed the final clash against Xavier. To reach the final, NASA defeated Trinity International College 47-38 with the help of Amisha Basnet's highest 23 points. Likewise, another finalist Xavier registered 38-31 win over New Summit. Karma Sherpa of the winning side Xavier scored highest 16 points.
The final matches of both boys' and girls' events will be held on Wednesday at host Rosebud's court.
