TAPLEJUNG, Sept 3: Three members of a single family died after landslide buried their house at Taplejung district last night.
The deceased have been identified as Bimala, wife of Tika Magar and sons—Manoj and Lalit, of Taplejung Municipality-2.
The incident took place when landslide occurred above the house buried them following torrential rainfall from Friday night.
Similarly, an unidentified woman of Taplejung Municipality-8 has gone missing while Kanchhi Subba was injured in landslide in course of running to escape the landslide.
Chief District Officer Chakrapani Pandey said that a team from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Nepal Army extracted the dead bodies this morning. RSS
