Three injured in Parbat landslide

PARBAT, July 15: Maaldhunga-Beni road section of the district has been obstructed at Nanglibang-9, Phanphane due to landslide since early Wednesday morning.

ASI Juth Bahadur Thapa said transportation along the road section has come to complete a halt due to mudslide since around 4 am.


A police team from District Police Office is attempting to clear the mudslide.

Travelling in the road section is a risk job as there are frequent landslides.

Meanwhile, three people were injured when landslide followed by insistent rainfall at Nanglibang-4, Girgire buried a house today.

The injured are Raje Damai, Belmati Pariyar, 60, and Kasis Pariyar, 8. A 16-member police team rescued and sent them to the District Hospital for treatment.
