According to KC, Taximandu was launched as an online taxi booking app in 2019, however, the company aims to provide a one-stop solution to ride sharing, supply chain management, and handyman services. “Mobile applications have become an integral part of our daily life. But increasing the number of apps not only makes our mobile phones slow but creates confusions as well,” he said. “Thus, our mission is to provide such an app where users can book all kinds of services like taxi booking, grocery delivery, getting an appointment with a doctor, ordering food with a single log in.”
KC also expressed that he was very happy to be selected for Startup World Cup 2022. He mentioned that it is a great responsibility for him and his team to represent Nepal for the first time in such a huge international platform for startups. “I returned to Nepal in 2016 after working for eight years in HongKong to do something in my own country. The company that was launched just in 2019 got selected to represent Nepal on an international platform. This is a huge responsibility for us. I am excited and nervous as well,” he said.
