With a theme of “Economic Transformation Through Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, second Nepal Startup Meet was held at Alice Reception, Gairidhara on Monday. Organized by Entrepreneurs Society (NES), the event saw the 13 fresh startups which were selected from a pool of 75 startup applications from across Nepal.
The speakers for the edition were Khagendra Aacharya—President of Nepal Entrepreneurs Society, Dr Ram Sharan Mahat—former Finance Minister, Dr Minendra Rijal—former Information and Communications Minister, Nabindra Raj Joshi—former Industry Minister, Hari Bhakta Sharma— President of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and Siddhant Raj Pandey—CEO of Business Oxygen.

Startups in the 2nd Nepal Startup Meet were from different fields like Agriculture, Customer Service, Platform Creation, E-commerce, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Nepalese Culture, among others.
NES designed the Meet as a platform bringing the startups, business houses, policymakers, diplomatic agencies along with investment companies under the same roof for cooperation to promote the entrepreneurial culture in the country.
