Mayor Shah wrote on Facebook on Wednesday, “Dear teachers, you have held your demonstration without littering, without breaking anything, thank you for this. We are not seeking a fine, we are seeking awareness. We are trying to build a conscious society where public property is also our own property. Please impart this education to your students as well. ”
Stating that cooperation of all concerned was necessary for building a vibrant society, he said the role of teachers was even more important.
“You are teachers, you have a huge responsibility and role to play in this,” he wrote. At the same time, he also requested to organize the program in a conscious manner without affecting the students' studies.
Mayor Shah said that the slogan 'Singha Durbar in the villages' was limited to the villages and hoped that one day there would be no need for people to reach the capital to demand their rights.
