Sunil KC becomes the first Nepali to participate in Caspian Basin Studies Program

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) and Vice President of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in ADA University Executive Education, Caspian Basin Studies Program.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: At the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Sunil KC, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) and Vice President of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in ADA University Executive Education, Caspian Basin Studies Program. 


The program was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan from November 13 to November 20 at ADA University Azerbaijan, according to the AIDIA.

The eight-day program, which will be attended by diplomats and think tank members from 21 countries, will feature discussions on issues including finance and development, foreign policy, geopolitics, security, politics, religion, society, energy and environment, as well as diplomatic training provided by the Azerbaijani government.


Similarly, the training being provided by Azerbaijan is considered as one of the most prestigious and excellent training in the field of world diplomacy. From 2011 to 2021, a total of 221 foreign diplomats from USA, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and other countries have participated in the training. 


KC is the first person from Nepal to participate in the program. He is also a member of the Think Tank Committee under the Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee.
