Fake Connect IPS website scam surfaces; NCHL urges caution

A scam operation has emerged involving a fake website using the name of Connect IPS. After receiving complaints about fraud attempts through fake websites promoted on social media, Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) urged customers to stay alert.

KATHMANDU, April 13: A scam operation has emerged involving a fake website using the name of Connect IPS. After receiving complaints about fraud attempts through fake websites promoted on social media, Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) urged customers to stay alert.



In a public notice, the company clarified that any website or URL other than the official Connect IPS site (login.connectips.com) is fraudulent.

The company has urged users to ignore claims of Connect IPS services offered through unofficial websites or URLs.


It has also warned users not to share their personal information, banking details, or sensitive data such as OTPs on any suspicious platforms.
