KATHMANDU, Sept 26: A struggle committee (Bhumi Adhikar Sangharsha Samiti) has staged demonstrations calling for the cancellation of the Supreme Court’s decision to designate additional 20 meters of land along riversides in the Kathmandu Valley.
The Committee protested on Thursday in Maitighar Mandala demanding the cancellation of the road and river standards.

Similarly, demonstrations have been ongoing demanding its cancellation, after the Supreme Court increased the setback standard on both sides of the rivers in the Kathmandu Valley by an additional 20 meters.
