KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Former coordinator of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Milan Pandey, urged the Maha Jodi not to fear the ever-changing nature of society and social media.
On Friday, Pandey wrote on Facebook, expressing his disappointment that the duo seemed intimidated by the rapidly shifting trends of society and social media.
Living with fear
"The country widely respects Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya. They once took to the streets for democracy and republicanism, fearlessly protesting even when the powerful Maoists imposed shutdowns. Now, they repeatedly bow down before social media mobs, apologizing for the moment a comment appears," he wrote.
"Dear Maha Jodi (duo), you don’t need to fear the ever-changing colors of society and social media. Seeing you appear so helpless is disheartening."
