Sindure Jatra celebratred in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU, April 15: Bhaktapur on Thursday celebrated the Sindure Jatra, a century-old tradition on Thursday.
Sindur Jatra is one of the major festivals of Bhaktapur. It is celebrated on the second day of the New Year.

As a part of the celebrations, people carry chariots of Hindu gods and goddesses and smear red vermilion powder onto each other.
