KATHMANDU, July 27: Today's hearing on the writ petitions  filed against 52 constitutional appointments made during the erstwhile KP Oli government has been postponed. The hearing was put off after the lawyers pleading on behalf of the defendants of the case - the office-bearers of the constitutional bodies - raised some questions.

It is expected that the SC will issue an order regarding the demand raised by them. As soon as the hearing started, the lawyers of the defendants of the case demanded that the constitutional bodies, too, should be made opponents and a written answer should be sought from them.
