Detention hearing to take place on Thursday
KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Rupandehi District Court has completed recording the statement of Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

The court recorded his statement on Wednesday before Judge Palhad Kumar Yogi. According to the court’s information officer Ananta Raj Marasini, the court only completed the statement recording process on Wednesday, so the detention hearing has not yet proceeded.
The Rupandehi District Court filed an additional charge against former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane on Sunday in connection with the fraud case related to Butwal-based Supreme Cooperative.
A total of 42 individuals are accused of embezzling the funds of the cooperative.
