KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The recording of statement of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has concluded at the Kathmandu District Court in the Swarnalaxmi cooperative fraud case. Lamichhane’s statement, which took place on Sunday, lasted nearly two hours. It began at 12:30 pm and ended at 2:30 pm at the bench of District Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari.
The detention hearing is currently ongoing at the court.

Earlier, the Kaski District Court had released former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Lamichhane on January 9 in connection with the Suryadarshan cooperative fraud case in Pokhara. Lamichhane arrived in Kathmandu on Friday evening and appeared before the court on Sunday morning.
