Road closed in Dhading after ammonia gas leak from transport vehicle

Officials are working to secure the gas-laden vehicle and resume traffic flow.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: A vehicle transporting 17 cylinders of ammonia gas from Kathmandu to a cold store in Nuwakot leaked gas upon reaching Bahundanda in Dhunibesi Municipality-9, Dhading, on Friday. 



Authorities have closed the vehicular movement along the road for safety following the leak. Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Raj Subedi of the Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Ramnagar, said they took this step to prevent potential risks.
