Reasons behind the suspension of the ANFA are—not adhering to directives in accordance with the National Sports Development Act, 2077 and the National Sports Development Regulations 2079,  as well as not implementing decisions and obeying legal provisions.

The NSC shared that such a move was taken after the ANFA did not seek permission from the NSC while forwarding the election process and did not carry out work in accordance with the law.
