KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has proposed limiting the civil service to a single official trade union.
Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee in the House of Representatives on Friday, PSC Chairperson Madhav Regmi made the proposal during discussions on the Federal Civil Service Bill.

Chairperson Regmi said, “There should be only one official trade union.” The proposal aims to streamline union activities within the civil service.
