KATHMANDU, Jan 8:Takeoff flights at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) remained affected for around two hours today, following a technical problem in its communications system.
According to its managing director Raj Kumar Chhetri, airport's communication system (video high frequency ) encountered with a problem due to a short-circuit in its equipment, affecting the flights schedule.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced

The problem was fixed by the TIA technical human resources and the flights have been regular since 11:00 am. However, there was no issue in both domestic and international arrival flights.
