KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Prime College and Morgan International College on Friday won the titles of the Sixth Kathmandu Bernhardt Cup Inter-college Basketball Tournament in boys' and girls' sections respectively.
South Siders and Prime win national basketball titles
Prime beat LRI 44-34 in boys' final at the host's court in Balkhu, Kathmandu. Prayush Shrestha contributed 13 points.
Similarly, Morgan recorded 31-27 win over NASA International College to win the girls' title. Bishnu Magar helped Morgan with her 13 points. Both Prayush and Bishnu were named most valuable players in their sections. Altogether 24 teams in boys' and seven teams in girls' sections had taken part in the tournament that kicked off on September 14.
