The striking facial features of a woman—elongated neck, pointy nose, almond eyes— is the centre of attraction in artist Pramila Bajracharya's most of the paintings displayed in her online solo exhibition 'Moments of life.'
Other than that, their golden necklace, earrings and traditional attires too grabs the attention in the exhibition, featured on YouTube that began on November 6.

Primary colors like blue, red and yellow are the main hues she plays with in her canvas. These women can be seen composed with flowers, cactus, cow, among others and are Pramila's figurative symbol for hope, joy, fear, struggle, courage and success.
According to her, in her most recent work, she has finally bid adieu to her old color palette and found new motifs to express her innermost emotions. She adds, "In this series, the portrait gains monumental importance. Present moment to be proud of our doctors and nurses for their contribution and dedication."
In the painting, 'Isolation and dedication' using acrylic on canvas she has three layers where in the first two layers a woman is depicted wearing a facial mask then on her side there is a circular object depicting corona virus.
Below her torso, four medical personnels in their uniform are in action which looks like they are doing some kind of experiment. The backdrop of the canvas has been painted in the hues of dark blue, red and light blue layered simultaneously.
The virtual exhibition is around 5 minutes long. The close up and full pictures of the paintings with the details about the size, price and medium allow you to understand more about the paintings.
About doing a virtual exhibition Curator of the exhibition Sarita Dongol also the founder of Classic Gallery explains, “During the pandemic where COVID-19 has limited our access to many things, Classic Gallery organized an online solo exhibition 'Moments of Life' with a motive to create an interacting platform to exchange their ideas, and concepts. We are hopeful that this exhibition will lead as a bridge to connect art lovers, artists nationally and internationally.”
