PM Dahal to offer garland of 108 kg Rudraksha in Mahakaleshwar

New Delhi, June 2: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is reaching Indore by air from New Delhi and then traveling to Ujjain by road. 


Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are welcoming Prime Minister Dahal at the Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport in Indore. Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to offer prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, which is considered one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

Due to the special 'protocol' of the Prime Minister, the rules regarding visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple have been changed and public worship has been banned for 6 hours from 6 am to 12 pm.


Devotees are prohibited from entering the sanctum sanctorum of the temple from 6 am to 12 noon on Friday. During that period, the security system has been tightened so that only the pandas and priests of the temple can go to the sanctum sanctorum (Garbhagriha).


Prime Minister Dahal is going to offer a garland of 108 kg Rudraksha at Mahakaleshwar Temple. It is said that Rudraksha was brought from Nepal to be offered in the temple. After reaching the Mahakaleshwar temple in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Dahal will be welcomed by Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel. The Prime Minister will return to Indore after the worship.


A meeting is scheduled between the Prime Minister and Governor Patel today. After the meeting, the Prime Minister will visit the Solid Waste Management Plant in Indore.


Prime Minister Dahal will stay at the Marriott Hotel in Indore. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan organized a dinner in honor of the Prime Minister. An observation visit to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys Special Economic Zone is scheduled on Saturday morning. The Prime Minister will return to Delhi from Indore that day.
