KATHMANDU, May 13: Prime Minister aspirant Madhav Kumar Nepal met with Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala Wednesday afternoon to discuss the problems surfaced in formation of a UML-led new coalition.
Nepal discussed with Koirala the issues taken up with Maoist leaders of Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) including caretaker Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Wednesday morning.

Nepal said though Madhesi parties are seen positive toward UML-led coalition, they are still stuck to some tough demands and needed Koirala’s initiatives as well to take them on board.
Nepal also discussed the legal complications in holding the elections for a new prime minister due to the obstruction created by Maoist lawmakers in the House.
UML leader Raghuji Pant said the two leaders discussed current political situation and the ongoing peace and constitution-making process.
Nepal headed to Bhaktapur to meet Nepal Workers and Peasants Party leader Narayan Man Bijukchhe to garner NWPP support to him. NWPP has remained silent in all the dialogues ffor formation of new ruling coalition.
