Foreign job aspirant swindled of Rs 100,000

KHOTANG, April 16: An agent has swindled a foreign job aspirant of Rs 100,000 by promising him a job in Poland.

KHOTANG, April 16: An agent has swindled a foreign job aspirant of Rs 100,000 by promising him a job in Poland.


According to the victim, Saran Bahadur Rai impersonating himself as a market manager of a manpower company defrauded Sagar Tamang of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadi Munipality-13 of Rs 100,000 promising him a visa to the European country.


According to police, Rai took the amount claiming himself as the market manager of Delta Employment Service Manpower and assured him of sending him to the European country by August, 2017.

After Rai did not fly Tamang even one year after he promised to do so, Tamang went to consult the manpower office. To his despair, the manpower office said that Rai did not belong to the office.


“I asked for a receipt of payment but he promised that he would fly me to Poland within a month.”


“I put a trust on him,” said Tamang, “When inquired, the manpower office said that Rai is not associated with the manpower office.” “It was revealed that he has cheated many foreign job aspirants like me.”


Through his Facebook status, it has been learnt that Rai crrently in Dubai.


Tamang said Rai  misbehaved him by using foul words when he asked for money through Facebook messenger.


The victim has demanded a stringent action against the fraudester and appealed to the concerned authority to help return him his lost money.
